David Beckham stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday night and joked that since retiring from soccer in 2013 he’s become a taxi driver for his four kids with wife Victoria Beckham.
The couple share sons Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 12, Cruz, 9, and 3-year-old daughter Harper, and Beckham called himself their “Uber driver.”
People reports he joked, “To be honest, I've become a taxi driver overnight with the kids. I'm literally an Uber driver now.”
Beckham said he is enjoying the time he gets to spend with his kids now after over 20 years traveling for soccer. Victoria is running her own fashion empire and he’s essentially the stay-at-home dad.
He did say back in June during a BBC documentary that he gets the “itch” to start playing again when he sees athletes at the “top of their game.”
