Eddie Redmayne recently married Hannah Bagshawe just before Christmas and The Theory of Everything star explained to Ellen DeGeneres that his now wife was late to their wedding.

People reported that during his interview with DeGeneres he opened up about his Golden Globe nomination and what life is like being married to Bagshawe.

Redmayne wasn't worried that he was going to be left at the alter, he knew Bagshawe is just naturally late to events. "She was a good half-hour late," explained Redmayne. "She has never been on time for anything in her life." He laughed about the moment, saying that everyone around him was stressed and that he knew that she is just naturally a not on-time person.

The couple got married on Dec. 15th and spent their holiday together honeymooning in the Alps and going skiing. The couple found time to spend together despite Redmayne's busy award schedule.

Redmayne has been nominated for a Golden Globe for his work in The Theory of Everything, playing Stephen Hawking. At a recent Q&A following the Film Society of Lincoln Center screening of the film, both Jones and Redmayne explained their methods behind their roles.

Redmayne explained that he had to work together with his co-star Felicity Jones in front of and behind the camera to capture their characters on screen, The Hollywood Reporter added. The two developed a method that allowed each other to give the other direction from behind the camera which helped their relationship to build on and off camera.

In the end both actors wanted to focus on the heart of the film and the love between their two characters.
