Game of Thrones fans really, really want to see their beloved show on the big screen. IMAX was completely thrown off by the fan response to its plan to show two episodes in theaters, so they have delayed the screenings to give it a wider release.

Last week, IMAX announced that the last two episodes of the series will be screened at 150 IMAX locations starting on Jan. 23. They will also debut the first Season Five trailer.

Reaction to that news was so strong that the company has decided to delay the release until Thursday, Jan. 29. In addition, 50 more theaters have been added for the one-week run. Even more theaters are expected to be added.

Tickets for the event will go on sale on Friday. The first 300 ticket-buyers will receive a poster from illustrator Robert Ball.

Game of Thrones’ fifth season will begin on April 12 at 9 p.m. The show was nominated for the Golden Globe for Best TV Drama series, but lost to Showtime’s The Affair.

Game of Thrones is based on the A Song of Ice and Fire novels by George R.R. Martin.
