Harry Styles broke away from his One Direction bandmates to duet with “All About That Bass” singer, Meghan Trainor.
The love song hasn’t been recorded yet, but they did come together to write it recently.
Trainor told The Sun, "It's a beautiful song we wrote together on my ukulele. It's a cute acoustic love thing."’
She said that a friend set them up after Styles had apparently expressed his desire to collaborate with her.
“It's one of the first cool things I can do with a pop star," she continued, saying about meeting, "A friend of mine said Harry was a fan and said he would love to write with me."
Trainor also admitted that she was hesitant to write a love song with substance with someone Styles’ age, but he impressed her once they started going.
“He's an incredible writer, too. I was worried he'd just be a 20-year-old boy,” she admitted. “So I walked in with a prepared verse and chorus," Trainor admitted. "But he gave me very poetic, mature lyrics. I was like, ‘Well, damn, Harry, you know what love is."
Trainor’s rep confirmed they wrote the song to E! News.
Styles has been linked to Taylor Swift, Kendall Jenner and Made in Chelsea star Caggie Dunlop. He’s been described as a young Mick Jagger.
