It seems like the Duplass brothers are busier than ever these days, but that's not stopping them from continuing work on their latest HBO series. Their hit new show Togetherness has just been renewed for a second season, following Sunday's third episode.

The news, found on Collider, comes after HBO's decision to renew Girls for a fifth season before its fourth season premiere, the same day Togetherness made its series premiere. The series focuses on a middle-aged couple (Mark Duplass, Melanie Lynskey) who must deal with the wife's hot-mess sister (Amanda Peet) and the husband's unemployed friend (Steve Zissis) living under their house at the same time. “We began our love affair with HBO in our parents’ living room in 1983, and to have these brilliant creative people put a ring on our fingers with a second season of Togetherness is a real-life dream come true," the Duplass said in a joint statement.

The new season begins production this summer in L.A. and airs sometime in 2016. The Duplass brothers write and direct every episode, and co-create the show with Zissis.

It'll be interesting to see how the Duplass' juggle their time with this news. While Mark is finishing up the final season of The League, Jay stars in Amazon's hit new series Transparent. Meanwhile, both brothers signed a four-picture deal with Netflix late last week. This is in addition to the many other projects Mark is set to star in and they are both set to produce, including the new animated series Animals on the Sundance Channel.

Despite the announced renewals of this and Girls, HBO's other Sunday series Looking, airing after Togetherness, has yet to be renewed.
