This is, quite possibly, the coolest high school class assignment ever. A theater arts high school teacher in Dallas had his students dance to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ super catchy “Uptown Funk” single and it’s really amazing.

Scot Pankey of the A. Maceo Smith New Tech High School had his students dance in a single take, with each class dancing along with him for a verse. His choreography looks like it spans the entire school and it was all done in one, five-minute take.

“We are a project-based school… and that means you give the students a project, put them in teams, and they have to come up with solutions,” Pankey told Yahoo News. “They had three weeks to work on it, then present as a group what they learned.”

Pankey also shared his excitement on Facebook. “So proud of my kids. We filmed this in one take! This is a great example of how a bunch of technology students dropped their fears, trusted their teacher and got down to Uptown Funk,” he wrote.

The video is now up to 880,000 views after just three days.
