Iggy Azalea’s mentor, T.I., doesn’t like the fact that she’s so outspoken on Twitter. He thinks she should stick to focusing on the music and performing.
T.I. caught up with a TMZ cameraman and responded to the question of whether or not the “Black Widow” rapper should be responding to her critics so often.
“Absolutely not,” T.I. said as he was leaving Crustacean restaurant in Beverly Hills, Calif. “I think she should focus on what got her here and that’s the music, her performing.”
He even compared it to Tom Brady and deflategate, saying asking if Azalea should be so vocal about her naysayers would be the same as Brady commenting on the Super Bowl drama.
“He should be worried about the big game on Sunday, correct?” he mused.
Part of what T.I. was referring to was Azalea’s Twitter rant on the unauthorized photoshoot Steve Madden released on Thursday of their collaboriation. Chances are we won’t be hearing anything negative from Azalea for a while.
