Hollywood has been full of divorces lately and the latest news on one comes from Godfather actor James Caan.
According to E! News, this isn’t the first time he has filed for divorce from his wife, Linda. In fact, he was married three other times before her.
The couple wed back in October of 1995 but Caan had filed for divorce twice during their marriage. They have two children together, 19-year-old James and 16-year-old Jacob. The veteran actor has also apparently asked for joint custody for Jacob since he is still a minor.
Caan married his first wife, Dee Jay Mattis, in 1960 only to divorce six years later and Sheila Marie Ryan was his second wife for only a year in the ‘70s and he married Ingrid Hajek in 1990, only to get another divorce in 1995.
According to TMZ, there is no prenuptial agreement between the couple. Each time Caan previously filed for divorce, the case ended up in dismissal.
Caan’s divorce news is not the only one to hit the airwaves.
Patrick Dempsey’s wife, Jillian Fink, reportedly filed for divorce after being married for 15 years, and singer Mandy Moore and her husband Ryan Adams also called it quits after six years.
