E! Online reported that some of the scenes in Cake did require Aniston to go underwater and that made the filming even more challenging. "I basically have a real fear of going underwater," said Aniston. Even when the Friends star explains that she is afraid, she said no one will take her seriously. "No one will believe me. I honestly can't."
"I was a kid and I was riding this tricycle around a swimming pool and I drove my tricycle into the swimming pool and I didn't let go and my brother tried to [help me]." As a result of this incident Aniston is terrified to go underwater.
Aniston has already received a Golden Globe nomination for her work in Cake and has been receiving Oscar buzz. The film received a standing ovation at the Toronto International Film Festival, Huffington Post added.
