Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting appeared on the Ellen Show where she discussed not only her People’s Choice Award snafu in forgetting to thank her husband, Ryan Sweeting, but also the sinus surgery she had that led people to think she had a nose job.
E! News reported that while she appeared, Cuoco-Sweeting admitted that the surgery she went through was “very painful” and that if she had made the decision to get a nose job, she would have informed people. The operation was done to fix a deviated septum that had gotten worse over time.
The Bang Bang Theory actress said that during the week after she had her surgery, she had taken a lot of medication and thought that she was having difficulty sleeping. So her husband was kind enough to take videos of her sleeping as proof that she was asleep.
Cuoco-Sweeting stated, “So he took his phone out four nights in a row to record my snoring and I brought it to show you because I was truly shocked by this.”
Ellen then joked that due to all of this, they are most likely not trying to start having a family.
She also addressed what happened when she forgot to thank her husband at the People’s Choice Awards when she won Favorite Comedic Actor. Her ex-boyfriend and on-screen fiance, Johnny Galecki, graciously took to the mic and thanked Ryan for her.
Cuoco-Sweeting said, “Johnny really swooped in for me there.” She also added, “That’s a great ex-boyfriend.”
