The royal couple of Monaco, Prince Albert and his wife Princess Charlene, have introduced their newborn twins Jacques and Gabriella.

On Wednesday around 11am, the proud parents showed off their bundles of joy on the balcony of the royal palace to enthusiastic cheer from the crowd of about 3,000 people.

Hello reports they each held a baby as they waved and smiled to the crowd of well wishers holding red and white flags, balloons and other celebratory items.

Today has been declared a public holiday in Monaco, as it’s a joyous occasion for all. After all, the twins are the first royal heirs to the throne in Monaco since the birth of Prince Albert, 56.

Princess Charlene gave birth to the twins on Dec. 10 and soon after declared she’s “crazy in love” with them.

Their full names are Prince Jacques, Honoré, Rainier and Princess Gabriella, Thérèse, Marie. Princess Charlene and Prince Albert’s children will become the Countess of Carladès (in Auvergne) and the first in line to the thrown.
