Outlander will not be back for over two months, but Starz has posted the first full minute of the first season’s ninth episode.

The opening minute just sets the mood, reintroducing the audience to Scotland in 1743, where Claire (Caitriona Balfe) was mysteriously transported to from 1945. While the series is usually told from her perspective, episode nine will be the first time we will see action from Jamie’s (Sam Heughan) perspective. So the scene is really an internal Jamie monologue, where he explains how he discovered that he had finally become a man.

For anyone worrying that the show might shift to Jamie’s view, executive producer Ron Moore said earlier this month that this is a one-time thing. After this episode, he will switch back to Claire.

Outlander is based on the books by Diana Gabaldon, who is also a consultant on the series. So far, she thinks the producers have done her books justice.

Outlander returns on Saturday, April 4 at 9 p.m.
