A viral video has surfaced of a real-life Peter Griffin impersonator, which Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane is now well aware of.
MacFarlane himself tweeted the video, which follows Robert Franzese on his New York Comic Con visit from October. MacFarlane voices Griffin in the animated show he created.
The video has now been viewed over 3.7 million times after MacFarlane tweeted it to his 6.4 million followers.
Franzese, who has the Twitter handle @ NYPeterGriffin, tweeted his excitement that MacFarlane caught wind of the video.
“Well it's official, folks! Seth Macfarlane knows about the video!!! Freakin sweet!” he wrote.
Franzese explained in the clip that he threw together clothes he already had; such as green pants, a white button down shirt and round glasses to transform into Peter Griffin. He said it has caught on “like wildfire.”
In the viral video, he’s seen taking photos with new fans and even telling a crowd what really “grinds my gears,” just like Peter Griffin would.
