Although some may say his designs are “ballsy”, Rick Owens took the term quite literally when he decided to feature the models’ genitalia during his menswear fashion show, this past week. Looks like 2015’s fashion will feature a whole lot of manscaping and an unfortunate lack of pants.

According to NYmag.com, there were about three models chosen to present their penises throughout the show. These controversial garments introduced high hem lines and cut-outs, explicitly placed for shock-value. However, before protesting the pornographic content of inappropriately placed peep holes, it was important to recognize the intrigue of the fashion first; was it an attempt to mirror the sometimes scandalous content of women’s fashion?

As reported by, Style.com, the collection, entitled Sphynx, was inspired by submarine sets in French movies, and the men who must live under close quarters. Yet, Owens had also considered the thought of immaturity when talking about his version of the “flash” mob.

"It's a little bit of juvenile transgression," he explained. "Boys with their d***s out is such a simple, primal, childish gesture."
