Ricky Martin responded to a recent death hoax via his social media account, uploading a picture from his own personal heaven.

According to the Huffington Post, a video was uploaded last week to YouTube which alleged that the singer died in a horrific car crash. However, the video turned out to be a hoax since the story supposedly came from Marin County near San Francisco, but said Martin died in Los Angeles. Plus, the video was apparently from a separate country altogether.

Martin, who is known for his song “Livin’ la Vida Loca” and has twin sons, uploaded a photo of a beach with the caption ‘Hello from #heaven.’ Another photo posted shows his profile in front of the setting sun captioned ‘#Sunset in #heaven.’

The singer is not the only star to recently survive a death hoax. Just recently, Hugh Hefner had supposedly died, but later tweeted about having movie night at his mansion and his wife even posted an image of the party. And actor Macaulay Culkin responded to his own death hoax with a photo to prove he was alive.
