After Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson and whole slew of other cases, it seemed that the NFL’s domestic violence crisis was finally over. Apparently it’s not, as New Orleans Saints linebacker Junior Galette was arrested in a domestic violence case on Monday.

A 22 year old woman called the police in Kenner, a New Orleans suburb, Monday morning. She alleged that Galette and his cousin Terrance Banks forcibly removed her from Galette’s home during an argument over cab fare. According to the woman Galette pushed her and helped Banks pin her down. She struggled to breath and when she got up she grabbed a knife and Galette began to record a video of her, according to the Associated Press.

After she dropped the knife Banks picked her up and carried her from the home. Banks also took her phone when she started dialing 911. The woman also says that her face was scratched and her ear was bleeding after an earring was ripped off.

Both Galette and Banks were arrested. Galette was charged with misdemeanor simple battery, but prosecutors could charge him later. He could be suspended by the NFL for six games under the NFL’s new personal conduct policy, ESPN notes.

Galette has been with the Saints since 2010. In 2013 he signed a three-year $7.5 million deal and agreed to a four-year, $41.5 million extension before the start of this season. In 2015 he will make $15.45 million. This season he finished with 10 sacks and was voted a defensive captain by his teammates, according to WWL-TV.

Galette has recorded 128 tackles, 31.5 sacks, two safeties, four defended passes, five forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in five seasons with the Saints.

Bail for Galette would be set at $602 and $302 for Banks. However, they would be released from jail on Monday by way of bonds.
