Bill Clinton was quizzed by Seth Myers about his wife, Hillary Clinton’s anticipated presidential run next year, but the former president did not indulge him.
Myers joked on Late Night that he was going to switch gears from politics to “real estate,” and asked him where he predicted he would be living in 2016.
“Do you think you might live in a different house in 2016?” he asked, queuing laughs from the studio audience, USA Today reports.
Clinton replied, “Well, I hope not because 2016 is the election year and I don’t have any place to move.”
A poll carried out in February 2014 indicated that the majority of Democrats wanted her to represent them in the upcoming presidential race. 84 percent of the party voted they would want to see her run.
In March of last year, the former Secretary of State spoke in front of college students and said she was weighing all the factors that go into running for president.
“Look, I am very much concerned about the direction of our country,” she said. “It’s not just who runs for office, but what they do when they get there and how we bring people together and particularly empower young people so that we can tackle these hard decisions we’ve just been talking about I’m obviously thinking about all kinds of decisions.”
