Famed musician Stevie Wonder made an appearance at a recent funeral and gave a political rant regarding President Obama.

According to Daily Caller, the piano-playing singer attended the funeral of gospel singer Andrae Crouch this week and decided to talk politics rather than mourn.

“We live in a time where I believe we have a president that truly wanted to see the world come together, to see this nation come together, but yet too much, too many people are judging their dislike of him based on the color of his skin,” he said. “And I know there are some who say no that’s not true, but I’m telling you what I see.”

The new father of nine also went on to talk about free speech at the Grammy award winner’s funeral saying that it should be limited when religion becomes involved.

“Yes, I truly believe in freedom of speech,” he said. “I really, really do believe in that. But I think if we don’t put some limits to us being able to give praise to that one what we hold sacred, we got a problem.”

Wonder’s appearance angered guests with one atenddee telling Fox News “Andrae was not about color or politics. He was about his faith and reached out to everyone. In a time where racial tension has escalated, the inclusive spirit and heart of Andrae was a healing balm.”
