The strip club used to film The Sopranos as a stand-in for the Bada Bing strip club, Lodi’s Satin Dolls in New Jersey, has been robbed twice in the past two weeks.
The strip club was robbed early Friday morning sometime between 2 and 5am. The criminal smashed the glass door open and broke into the office, but had no luck getting into the safe.
Philly.com reports on Dec. 21, the club owners weren’t so lucky. Two perpetrators stole $30,000.
Lodi Police Captain Donald Scorzetti said it’s not yet clear if the two break-ins are related in any way, ABC News reports.
Back in August, Sopranos director David Chase indicated that Tony Soprano did not die a the conclusion of the series seven years ago.
He described the ending, which featured Soprano sitting at a diner and the screen just going black, as something that "was meant to make you feel, not to make you think."
“Why are we talking about this?" he asked the interviewer when she brought up the question of whether or not Soprano is dead. He then replied, "No, he isn't." He later backtracked.
