Teresa Giudice’s daughter, Gia Giudice, is giving the first update of her how her mom is doing while behind bars at Connecticut’s Danbury jail, where she’s serving 15 months for fraud.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star surrendered Jan. 5 and she has since had one visit from her husband, Joe Giudice and their four daughters.
Gia told Access Hollywood she’s “doing amazing” in jail and her father has been their “rock” during this difficult time.
“We can talk to her on a daily [basis] and we have access to e-mailing her whenever we want," she said. "So that's amazing. It definitely helps with like coping with missing her and stuff."
Gia, 14, has three younger sisters; Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5, and she wants to be strong for them. She explained of her mom, "She always just said to me, 'Stay strong for mommy. You'll see me soon.'"
