On tonight’s Big Bang Theory, Leonard and Sheldon want to stay home and play Lord of the Rings Risk, a game that according to Sheldon, can easily go eight hours. Penny any Amy don’t want to stay home and play a game all day. They argue that they are always doing what the guys want and taking part in their interests. The guys agree that they are right so they let the girls pick this time.
The girls try to pick, which isn’t an easy task. Amy says that Penny always gets her way. Sheldon come up with the idea that they should go shopping while he and Leonard sit around and hold their purses, since that is something they hate. The girls agree, although Penny feels that Sheldon took the fun out of it by suggesting it.
At the mall, the guys sit in the store while the girls try things on. Leonard soon discovers that there is no cell service. To occupy themselves, they play an imaginary game of risk, but it doesn’t entertain them for long.
While in the dressing room, Penny asks Amy if she really always forces her to do things. Amy says yes, but it is okay because she told herself if she ever had friends, she would do whatever they want. Penny says that isn’t right and they will do what Amy wants that night. Amy chooses basket weaving, which Penny isn't thrilled about.
Leonard tells Sheldon how mature he is being, agreeing that the girls are right and that they should do stuff for them. Sheldon tells him that he is used to compromising because he does it for him all the time. Leonard cannot see how he does this. Sheldon explains that he compromises by not putting things on high shelves and by letting Leonard drive him to work, which he thinks gives his life purpose. Leonard tells him that these situations are not compromises. Leonard gives examples of his compromises such as not adjusting the heat, not wearing shoes that squeak, or even living with the woman he loves because Sheldon can't handle him leaving. He accuses Sheldon of being inconvenient to everyone. Sheldon snaps back, telling Leonard that he is always mean to him. He tells him that he should put on his squeaky shoes and go live with Penny. The two of them start to get emotional and Sheldon thanks Leonard for putting up with him. Leonard agrees that he will start to move out gradually. They decide that Leonard will stay at Penny's one night a week.
In tonight’s subplot, Raj tells Howard and Bernadette that he is worried about a space probe that he launched to Pluto nine years ago. It has finally gotten close enough and it is about to activate. He is unsure if it will arrive undamaged and be functional.
Raj and Howard drive to a Hindu temple, because Raj thinks this will calm his nerves. Howard is surprised how religious Raj is. He thinks that it is strange that he believes in a higher power when he is a scientist. Raj names a number of scientists that believe in religion.
While in the parking lot of the Temple, Raj briefly finds peace until a man dings his car. Raj gets out and berates him, that is, until Howard interrupts and tells him that the probe turned on. Raj relaxes and apologizes to the man.
In the final scene of the episode, we see Leonard and Penny getting ready for their first night living together. As they try to have a conversation however, they are shushed by Sheldon who is sleeping on Penny's couch.
