Last season we left off with Jim letting Candace free and later being kidnapped himself, David goes into Maggie's hotel room after failing to reach his wife, Quincy is still out looking for Candace and Amanda shot someone, but who?
After the gunshot, Wyatt wakes up and searches the house for the source of the sound. He goes into Katheryn's room to find her asleep, and into Amanda's room, who is also sleeping. He goes outside and find's Jim's cell phone on the ground. He goes into Jim's office, only to realize that he is not home.
He grabs one of the liquor canisters and a glass, helping himself. After figuring out Jim's password, he looks through his text messages to find some from Candace and their housekeeper, Celine. Angry, he throws the phone across the room.
Hanna is throwing a party on behalf of Benny's return from the hospital. At the party, Hannah dances with the grandfather of the young girl, who was killed after a hit and run involving Wyatt, Michael. Michael is drunk and Hanna flirts a little with him while an angry Benny watches. When Michael walks away, Benny approaches Hanna and tells her that he doesn't like Michael, but Hanna brushes him off.
Veronica, in bed, calls David's cell phone, but he doesn't answer. She gets out of bed and goes into the closet.
Benny later talks to Candace, telling her that she needs to stay home where she'll be safe from Quincy. Candace starts to tell him about the evil Cryer family, only to find out that it was Katheryn who had Benny moved to the new hospital and paid for everything.
David and Maggie are together in her hotel room. David drinks to work up the nerve to sleep with her and they kiss.
Jim is brought to War's stomping grounds where he is placed in the basement with a bag over his head. War calls Candace and she tells him that she will be there as soon as she gets away from Benny and the party.
Back at the house, Hanna finds a drunken Michael inside and puts him in her bedroom to sleep it off. Benny doesn't trust him and tells Hanna that he's keeping an eye on him. He also tries one again to get Hanna to talk to Candace but fails.
Byron shows up at the party and Hanna confronts him about working with Jim. Byron admits to everything, but tries to tell her that he started to have feelings for her. Hanna, too upset to really listen, sends him away and he leaves.
Veronica, now dressed, gets ready to head over to David's hotel, but finds Quincy in her house. He tries to rape her but she threatens to kill his family if he does, so Quincy leaves, but it seems as if he'll be back.
Candace manages to sneak out of the house after telling Benny that she is going to sleep. She sneaks out of his bedroom window.
Back at the hotel, Davis and Maggie are rolling around in bed, but David cannot get himself to cheat on Veronica, admitting that he loves her too much even though she makes him angry sometimes. We see Veronica outside of his hotel room. She calls his cell once more only to hear it ring through the door. She then uses the hotel phone in the hallway to call the front desk, telling them that she misplaced her key and asks for them to send someone up.
Next week, Candace finally confronts Jim and Benny realizes that she is gone. We will also see the confrontation between Veronica, Maggie and David. Will we finally know who was shot?
