This week's episode of Archer introduced us to Pam Poovey's family, and what better way to do that then at her sister's wedding in Illinois. Pam brought Archer with her as moral support as she relayed to him what life was like growing up with her sister, Edie. He witnessed first hand their animosity towards each other when they got into a knock-down drag-out in a hotel room.

At the same time, Barry, a cyborg obsessed with destroying Archer, followed them to Illinois after his plane was re-routed. He used Pam storming out of the hotel as an opportunity to kidnap her. Archer, in turn, kidnapped Edie to help rescue Pam as she knew the location of where she would be. Once they got to the barn, they were ambushed by Barry. With the proper motivation, Edie and Pam worked together to defeat the cyborg.

In a subplot, Lana desperately tried to find a babysitter for her daughter, A.J. after learning from Cheryl that Archer went off to Illinois. She enrolled herself for spy training and asked the entire cast of characters including Krieger if they could babysit.

Overall, 'Edie's Wedding' is an example of what makes 'Archer' such a good show for young adult audiences. Even though Archer and Pam were off having their own adventure with Barry and Edie, it still added the humor of Cheryl, Lana, and Mallory back in New York. Finding a babysitter on short notice is not an easy task and Lana proved that with her group of incompetent friends.

Here is a look back at the top ten moments from 'Edie's Wedding,' which wasn't.

10. Pam's Crying Fit

The episode started with a sobbing Pam in the breakroom. It wouldn't be 'Archer' if the male protagonist didn't do everything in his power to avoid getting involved in her drama. He navigated around her to get his morning coffee together before slapping her to stop. After an Ike Turner reference, Pam set the tone of the episode by mentioning her sister's wedding.

9. Flight to Illinois

While on their way to catch their flight, Pam explained to Archer the rivalry she had with her sister, Edie. Even though she kept saying Wisconsin as the place of the wedding, the location was really Illinois as Barry, the cyborg got re-routed there. He saw it as an opportunity to take down Archer for his recent heartbreak.

8. Hotel Brawl with Edie

Pam and Archer were preparing for Edie's rehearsal dinner in their hotel room when there was a knock on the door. Pam was feeling good about herself in her Marilyn Monroe-inspired dress just as she was met with a scowling Edie. The sisters proceeded to beat each other up, while Archer served as the referee.

7. Barry Kidnaps Pam

After the brawl, Pam left the hotel room in tears only to be met by a very much alive Barry. He kidnapped her and called Archer over to a barn where Edie knew the location. This moment led to the unlikely alliance of Archer and Edie on a rescue mission to save Pam.

6. Lana Needs A Babysitter

Lana signed herself up for spy training in upstate New York. The only problem: Archer was out of town and couldn't babysit their daughter, A.J. Cheryl was no help in delivering the news or being an adequate choice for a babysitter. Neither was Mallory, even though she was the child's grandmother.

5. Cheryl Eating An Aloe Plant?

Before Lana received the news of Archer being unable to babysit little A.J., Cheryl entered Mallory's office, casually eating an aloe plant like she did it all the time. Even Lana and Mallory didn't care to comment on her consumption of the plant. This is another example of how wild and crazy Cheryl's character is, making her my favorite on the show.

4. Two Barrys?

After tracking Pam down to the barn, Archer and Edie were met with a surprise in the grain elevator. Instead of one Barry, there were two; one in a red tracksuit and the other in Chicago fan apparel. It was a recurring theme that fans of the show really enjoyed, especially with the character popping up every now and then to mess with Archer.

3. Lana Asks Krieger to Babysit

Desperate to get to her training, Lana decided to leave her daughter with Krieger, who attempted to educate her about the brown note of instrument playing. Once she left, he began using A.J. as inspiration for a potential robot teddy bear design. It's the thought that counts, right?

2. Edie and Pam Team Up

While Edie was "cutting Pam down" (she meant actually cutting her down from the ropes on the ceiling), Barry ripped into her about no man wanting to marry her. This led to a brawl between Edie and the cyborg. Just as he was about to strangle her sister, Pam got free from the ropes and proceeded to obliterate Barry with one of Archer's explosive weapons. Edie and Pam helped each other out, which was nice to see after all the fighting they did in the hotel.

1. The Wedding Is Off

After Edie learned some disturbing news about her fiance, she decided to call off the wedding. She was so angry she began to blame Pam, even though it wasn't her fault. It didn't matter to her as she was happy to take the blame. It was as if she reveled in her sister's misfortune, making their bonding over destroying Barry irrelevant.

Archer returns next Thursday with a brand new episode at 10/9c on FX.
