Last night’s episode of Blue Bloods spotlighted all of the Reagan family members, save for the kids, in various ways. Frank was stuck at home due to a sprained ankle and his father helped him around the house, especially when Garrett and Gormley came over to work. But when Frank appears to have a tone with his father at one point, the two have tension with one another over respect.
Erin’s latest case is in jeopardy when another prosecutor wants to have her removed from the case of Thomas Kowalski, a corrections officer accused of having drugs in his car. She thinks there is more to the story, especially when her ADA and boyfriend, Bobby McCoy, also tries to get her to let go of the case.
Jamie and Eddie are on the case of a young homeless boy named TJ, who thinks his aunt Christy may have been killed. Since they can’t investigate, Jamie calls in his brother and Baez to help with the case. Eddie feels Jamie is getting too emotionally involved, but he just wants to help the kid, who basically has no one.
Danny also has a minor story when he is involved with a fight with Linda over him not being around his family enough, since he is working so long to pay for their son’s private school.
It was great to see the family showcased in this episode, since often times some members may have more screentime than others. It was a nice balance to an episode that gave us a glimpse into their everyday lives. Let’s look at some of the top moments from “Home Sweet Home.”
