Blue Bloods this week focused on storylines for Frank, Danny, Erin, and Jack, Danny’s son. Frank is getting ready for another day in the office when he gets information that Danny was put on a recommendation list to receive a Medal of Valor.
This decision would be a tough one for Frank since he doesn’t want the publicity with people thinking he is showing favoritism and he shares touching moments with his father and his son as he considers his decision.
Erin is involved in a case where a young lawyer named Justin Taylor wants to have his own mother’s case retried in the murder of a convenience store clerk from 12 years earlier. However, when evidence that was not previously tested shows the truth of what happened, she knows this is a tough situation for everyone.
Danny and Baez are on the case when an intruder is shot and killed by a homeowner, Nicholas Bianco. At first, it appears that he could have been the target, especially since the intruder is a man named Bruce Epstein who is a hired hitman. The case takes a surprising turn when more information is brought to light.
Meanwhile, Jack gets some focus when he tells his dad that there is a girl he wants to ask out. He does end up getting to go on a date with her and Linda and Danny prove that love never falters when you have surprises in store.
Here are our top ten moments from the episode “Love Stories.”

Gormley says that’s not the case and he was only doing the right thing that he hadn’t done before. When Frank refuses the recommendation, Gormley tells him the kids shouldn’t get a punishment for their father being in charge.

Erin mentions wanting to find out the truth and she is worried she may have put an innocent woman behind bars. By the time some evidence is tested after it had previously been ignored, she discovers that the woman was, in fact, guilty, and had led her son on to believe she was innocent. She shares a moment with the young lawyer to let him know she thought he did a great job in his defense, despite him feeling as though he wasn’t good enough.
