Blue Bloods returns after a winter hiatus with the new episode “Sins of the Father.” The main storylines centered on Frank, Jamie, and Danny. Jamie and his partner arrived at the scene of a mob attacking a man who had hit a young girl. Danny had his own case when a man began shooting in the street, causing multiple cars to crash and with a victim deceased.
The ensuing case for Danny and Baez reveals that a young woman from Montana came to the city and she ended up in the erotic film industry, but after partying so much, she committed suicide. The people involved in the industry end up being targeted by her vengeful family.
Frank is giving out awards to cops who have earned high ranks when he discovers a man who fits the description of a suspected cop killer during his father’s time as a cop. But due to time and waning memories, it’s tough for Erin to build a case until the suspect’s son does what is right as a cop.
Jamie and Eddie respond to the scene of a mob attacking a man who hit a little girl on a street. The case seems easy at first since the man was at the scene and was intoxicated, but then a witness claims he wasn’t driving the car. Eddie is sure there is more to the story and continues investigating, leading to a surprising conclusion.
An exciting episode to start us off into the new year. Let’s look at the top ten moments from “Sins of the Father.”
