There’s still a few weeks left before the return of Supernatural. So far we’ve seen the boys go through a lot in such a short amount of time. Dean started out this season as a demon, affectionately referred to as a “Deanmon” by many of the loyal fans. Now, he has been returned to his human self by his brother and everyone’s favorite angel Castiel, but he is still fighting to live with the Mark of Cain.

The boys haven’t only had Dean’s demon self to worry about, but also the usual monsters, such as witches, werewolves, and goddesses. Not to mention, Dean is being tracked by a man who has a bone to pick with him over the murder of his father.

In the mid season finale, we saw Dean still fighting to control the urges to kill brought on by the Mark of Cain, and Sam is definitely worried for his brother. While we wait to see what is in store for the Winchester’s in the second half of the season, TheCelebrityCafe.com is counting down our favorite moments so far.

10. Rowena’s reveal as Crowley’s mom

We were first introduced to this witch early in the season before she came to have a bigger part in the seventh episode. The Winchester’s originally try to capture her, but she gets away. Not for long though, because she gets snatched up by Crowley’s henchmen. It’s while she is locked in a cell, that we find out how the two are connected.

9. Return of Chuck

Everyone remembers Chuck, the writer of the Supernatural books and a prophet of God. There had been rumors that he had died because Cas said only one prophet could be alive at a time, which would explain how Kevin Tran gained his powers. But somehow he returns to watch the musical based on his books. Maybe we'll get to see more of Chuck this season?

8. Deanmon Karaoke

Our first introduction to the demon version of Dean, shows him singing(quite terribly) in a bar. And what song does our handsome Winchester sing? “I’m too Sexy” by Right Said Fred.

7. “Pick a Bloody Side”

And here we see the break-up of the Crowley/Dean bromance. Crowley thinks he is sticking it to Dean when he tells him to pick a side but Dean shows him he’s not afraid of the King of Hell.

6. Cole vs Dean

As mentioned previously, one man was on a search to get revenge on Dean. That man is Cole, whose father was murdered by Dean in 2003. Here we see the fight that takes place between the two.

5. “Hakuna Matata lady”

Below is a fan made video for a spin off of the two sheriffs, Donna and Jody, which I would totally watch (come on writers, make this a thing) but it features the clip of Donna where she cuts off the werewolf’s head and says this awesome line.

4. Dean has an online dating profile

Dean will do whatever it takes to pick up a chick or two while he’s in town. He even has a dating profile so he can find girls all over the country.

3. Carry on my wayward son

In the episode “Fan Fiction” we get to see a fan made musical based on the books. The best part is this rendition of “Carry On Wayward Son.”

2. "John" stories from the boys

It’s not often we hear the Winchester’s talk of their father, but this clip is a great example of the kind of father John Winchester aimed to be.

1. Dean gets free in the bunker

After Sam captures demon Dean, he pumps him with human blood to turn him back to normal. Unfortunately the human blood makes him able to get free of the demon trap. After which a nice game of cat and mouse ensues.
