It’s being rumored Joe Giudice might not be able to visit his wife, Teresa Giudice, in jail because of his own conviction. The speculation started when he failed to take their kids to visit her during her first weekend there.
Sources close to the situation say it is normally a rule, but the warden would likely make an exception in this case.
“Visitors with criminal records are usually not allowed to visit inmates," a source told People. "The warden will probably make an exception because he's her husband, and they are raising children together.”
The reason for Joe not visiting her at the Danbury, Connecticut jail for her first weekend also likely has to do with the warden not getting around to approving it.
"It's not an automatic process. It can take up to two weeks for immediate family members to get approved – especially since the warden is so busy with the men's prison there, which he also runs,” the source said, adding they do background checks on all the visitors.
Over the weekend, Joe was seen carpooling their daughters around and showing their home to realtors. They have slashed the price from $3.9 to $2.9.
