During Stan’s self-help group to help get his wife back, a lady named Tori has an emotional break through with an exercise. Stan is called upon to try the same thing but he pretends to talk to his wife. The instructor asks like Stan’s wife to get him to open up but he yells at the instructor instead. Afterwards, him and Philip go to leave when Tori asks Stan to go out for drinks. He turns her down and Philip asks why and reminds Stan that he’s not married. However, Stan doesn’t consider himself single.

Stan talks to his boss about Sandra. He doesn’t feel right about her and is afraid that she’s not on their side. She is going to see a lot about America and Stan doesn’t like the idea of it. When Stan takes her out to a diner for food, he tries to spy on her while she is in the bathroom. After the diner’s closing hours, Stan enters the bathroom to see if she planted anything. He finds nothing.
Nina is trying to connect with her cell mate. She says she has a husband and asks Evi about her love life. However, Evi claims she has no one and goes to bed. The next time Nina tries to get Evi to talk, Nina tells her the story as to how she got there. It seems to have worked a little.
Philip makes the fake IDs for Kimberly and her friends for free. He tells her he’s a lawyer and tries to get closer to her. She allows him to call her by her nick name showing that she is willing to get close to him.
Philip gets Paige what seems to be a birthday gift. It’s a record by the band Philip learned from Kimberly. She loves it. Elizabeth doesn’t like how he didn’t talk to her about the gift but Philip says it’s not for her birthday. Another agreement about Paige’s future breaks out between the couple.
It’s the night of Paige’s birthday dinner and the family is ready. At dinner, Paige tells everyone that she wants to be baptized. The Pastor informs Elizabeth and Philip that he convinced Elizabeth to discuss this with them first beforehand.
Stan visits his ex-wife and confesses his affair with Nina. He wants to be honest with her. Without saying anything, she goes back into her house leaving Stan.
After Paige’s dinner, Elizabeth tells Philip about how they were tricked into allowing Paige to get baptized. Philip tries to convince her not to tell Paige about them at this moment. He has to leave, however, to visit Kimberly.
Paige getting closer to God is making it harder for Philip and Elizabeth to tell her the truth if it ever comes to that. While working on building a relationship with Kimberly, Philip also has Martha to deal with. Nina is back to spying and Stan still wants to fix his marriage.
