Patrick woke Sam up in her bed. He told her that he made coffee, fed Danny and had taken him to the park. Sam was still wondering why Jake hadn’t killed them when he had the chance. She then explained to Patrick about Jake/Jason’s confusing memories and how he remembered her giving him the phoenix. "It only meant something to Jason," Sam pointed out. Yet, Patrick just wanted to celebrate them being alive. Then, they made love. Afterward, she thanked him for getting her mind off things for a minute. As he headed to the shower, she put the phoenix statue back with the dragon.

Down the hall, Nathan confirmed to Lulu and Tracy that the man in custody was actually Luke. They had a hard time believing that. Tracy assumed that Helena had the answers they needed. She still didn’t understand why he dug up Bill. Helena hoped he had a plan to get them out of there since the only thing she could come up with was Jake/Jason until Luke pointed out that he was already in captivity. Luke then ranted about how useless her family was. Then, Tracy showed up and accused Helena of brainwashing Luke. "Undo it. Now!" Tracy commanded. Helena then offered to help if she would get full immunity.

Olivia asked him why he was here and he admitted that he was spying on Alexis. He thought she didn’t want to hear about it, but Olivia replied that she misses him even if they only could be friends. He said that he missed her too and he explained how Alexis couldn’t seem to stay away from Julian. Olivia then reminded him that Alexis chose him and told him to trust Alexis. Ned thanked her and then headed off. Meanwhile Michael found Alexis in Julian’s room and asked her about putting Sonny back in jail, but Alexis said there was nothing she could do to overturn a pardon. Michael then reiterated that he wanted Sonny to pay for killing AJ. Julian told Michael that he sounded like an ungrateful bastard and that the only thing that Sonny was worried about while in prison was saving him. Michael fired back that he and Lucas were in two different situations. Michael then stormed out of Julian’s room and ran into Olivia. Later, Maxie asked Nathan if he could drive her to the airport to pick up Georgie, Ellie and Spinelli. Nathan couldn’t, as he had to continue searching for Johnny. He thought she probably needed gas in her car and offered to fill it for her. Maxie then pretended to go for her keys, but was unable to find them. Nathan thought she may have been robbed. Lulu thought the same was true for Luke, but Luke said that wasn’t the case. He then reminded her that he had been working with Julian for years, back to his witness protection days, so that would mean Helena had been controlling him for decades.
