If you’re wondering why the Dallas Cowboys have not signed the team’s best wide receiver yet, some suggest it may have to do with the possible existence of a very damning videotape.
If you have paid any attention to the rumors swirling around the Internet lately, you already know that the Cowboys star could soon have a video leaked that may jeopardize his career.
Why many questioned if there really is a video ESPN’s Adam Schefter actually confirmed that there is a tape out there and it’s not good. And, ProFootballTalk.com’s Mike Florio also was open about hearing of the video, but he said he was unsure whether or not it did exist. Schefter went a step further and said that while he did not see the tape, it is something he has known about and has been working on since September.
It has been said that Bryant’s friends are the ones who have the video and are using it to extort the star.
The athlete took to Twitter last week to say that he is not ashamed of any his past incidents.
If a video is released and it’s anything remotely close to what that Ray Rice tape was, the Cowboys may be done with Bryant and his stock on the free-agent market would drop. As of now though, this is all of course just speculation and nothing has been released, but the rumblings are getting louder.
Both Schefter and Florio’s comments are below.
