American Horror Story: Freak Show star Ben Woolf was struck by a car as he was walking across a street in Hollywood on Thursday night.
The 4’4” actor was hit in the head after being hit by the SUV’s mirror and was subsequently rushed to the hospital. He’s currently in critical condition.
TMZ reports the driver of the car wasn’t given a ticket for hitting the pedestrian because Woolf, who plays Meep on AHS was jaywalking.
The the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the accident to People, saying it occurred at around 9pm.
Woolf has pituitary dwarfism and has been featured in films such as Haunting Charles Manson and Dead Kansas and has performed as a stuntman on Showtime’s Dexter.
He joined American Horror Story in 2011 and reportedly works as a preschool teacher when he’s not acting.
