Anna Faris and husband Chris Pratt welcomed their son, Jack, two months prematurely and the Mom star is opening up about the frightening ordeal.

In the March issue of Redbook, she admitted she was in “denial” when started to go into labor early.

She gave birth to Jack in August 2012 and he was only 3 pounds, 12 ounces.

"My water broke in the middle of the night at seven months," she explained. "We rushed to the hospital, and they were able to halt active labor with magnesium. I was at the hospital and the goal was to be in bed for four weeks...but on the seventh day, I went into labor again.”

"For hours I was like, 'I'm just having indigestion.' Chris and I were so scared, but then Jack came out. Even though he was so tiny, he looked so good to us,” she added.

Faris went on to call motherhood a “big sleeping bag full of guilt” but admits it’s changed her husband in a good way.

"It's one of those things that drives you apart or makes you closer," she said. "I think that being a father is very meaningful and rewarding to Chris. He's a great dad. He's a little more serious than he was before. It forces your hand. You really have to become an adult."

However Jack has changed Pratt certainly looks good on him, as he recently made a win-win bet with pal Chris Evans which ended in a lot of sick kids’ spirits being lifted for a few hours.
