The Fault in Our Stars actor Ansel Elgort reveals he’s always had a way with women – losing his virginity at only 14 years old.
He admitted in an interview with Elle that he had not the slightest clue what he was doing, but he wasn’t alone.
"I was 14. I had no clue what I was doing, and neither did the girl,” he said. Elgort, 21, said the only thing he would do differently, looking back on it, was at least make the lighting better.
“I didn't even make the lighting good,” he said. “That'd be one thing I'd do differently. It was, like, fluorescent, bright bedroom light, like, over the covers.”
He’s rumored to still be dating his high school sweetheart, Violetta Komyshan, but didn’t say whether or not he lost his virginity to her. They both went to Manhattan’s LaGuardia High School, which is filled with dancers and aspiring actors.
Elgort confessed the “hottest thing” ever is picking up a girl who is “all sweaty in a leotard with her hair in a bun.”
But he also gave some advice for anyone looking for a girlfriend, saying "If you can find a girl who you can go to an EDM concert with, have a conversation with, who will sit on the couch and watch you play GTA for three hours -- and then you go to bed and have amazing sex? That should be your girlfriend."
Elgort will appear in Insurgent opposite Shailene Woodley on March 20, the sequel to Divergent.
