Bear Grylls decided that walking to an interview on live television was too boring. So, before a U.K. morning show appearance today, he decided to come in swinging, literally.

Grylls appeared on ITV’s This Morning to promote Bear Grylls’ Mission Survive series, which starts on Feb. 20. He kept the hosts waiting, as they told viewers what was coming up next. Then, they heard a smash behind them. Grylls actually swing right through the window!

According to Metro, Mission Survive is very similar to the series Grylls hosted this past summer on NBC in the U.S. This time, he picks famous U.K. celebrities and challenges their survival skills. The U.S. series, titled Running Wild, featured Zac Efron, Channing Tatum and Ben Stiller.

While Running Wild featured one celebrity a week, Mission Survive is an ongoing competition between eight celebrities. The winner will surprise viewers, Grylls said.

“A survivor’s arsenal is more than just muscles,” Grylls said. “There’s positivity, resourcefulness, humility, kindness. Don’t judge a book by its cover.”

Grylls, who is still best known for the international hit Man vs. Wild, is also working on a new Discovery Channel series.
