Bobbi Kristina Brown’s husband, Nick Gordon, is now under investigation for foul play after the daughter of Whitney Houston was found unresponsive in her home exactly a week ago.
This story is taking all sorts of left turns. Brown and Gordon, despite claiming they got married in Jan. 2014, were never married.
Brown’s father, Bobby Brown’s lawyer, told ABC News, “To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon.”
And he’s now under criminal investigation for last week’s incident, when she was found unresponsive in her bathtub at home.
According to TMZ, police are investigating a possible altercation between Brown and Gordon that took place about an hour before she was found in the tub. She was found by her friend and alleged drug dealer, Max Lomas.
However, Lomas is now painting a different picture. He claims he got to the house around 9am on Saturday and didn’t see Brown. Gordon told him she was in the bedroom.
Lomas said Gordon then left his sight and he’s not sure what he was doing until 10am when the cable guy came over – suggesting he could’ve been cleaning up blood or evidence. When Lomas let the cable guy into the bedroom, that’s when he found Brown and Gordon then performed CPR.
Investigators have allegedly found suspicious markings on Brown’s body and have decided to pursue the case further considering the couple's report past history with violence.
Us Weekly notes Gordon hasn't been to her bedside since she moved to Emory University Hospital. The family reportedly banned him from visiting.
