Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family is hopeful as she remains in intensive care in a hospital in Georgia, using a ventilator for help breathing.
However, the severity of the situation is now sinking in. She was found unresponsive in a bathtub this past weekend and the amount of time she spent without breathing is crucial.
TMZ reports her brain function has “significantly diminished.”
Her father, Bobby Brown, remains by her side as she recovers and has issues a statement asking for privacy, Atlanta Journal Constiution.
“The report that Bobbi Kristina Brown has been taken to the hospital in Atlanta, Georgia is accurate. No additional information will be forthcoming. Privacy is requested in this matter. Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time,” he said.
Due to medical privacy laws, little information is known on Brown’s condition but Roswell Police Department spokeswoman Lisa Holland did confirm those on the scene on Saturday were interviewed so that a better understanding of what happened could be concluded.
