While there were rumors this morning that her family was considering taking Bobbi Kristina Brown off life support on Wednesday, her father, Bobby Brown, says that is incorrect. Wednesday marks the third anniversary of the death of her mother, Whitney Houston.
As previously reported, the rumor came from the New York Post’s Page Six. According to the site, Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother, Cissy Houston, came up with the idea. It would mean that the 21-year-old would die on the same day that Houston died in 2012.
However, Christopher Brown, an attorney for Brown, told E! News this afternoon that it is not true.
While the Brown family is thankful for the outpouring of support from fans, Brown’s attorney called false reports “egregious, false and will be dealt with at an appropriate time.”
Christopher Brown continued, “In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and the U.K.'s Daily Mail citing, police sources, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention. The desire to be first has clouded the judgment of many reporters as they forgo accuracy.”
Bobbi Kristina, who is Houston’s only child, is currently being treated at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. A public vigil was held on Monday night.
She was found unresponsive in her bathtub on Jan. 31. Nick Gordon, who Brown has said is not really married to Bobbi Kristina, reportedly found her. However, Gordon is now under investigation for foul play.
