Despite Bobby Brown’s reported refusal to pull the plug on daughter Bobbi Kristina’s life support, a new report suggests the family has decided to pull it on the anniversary of Whitney Houston’s death.
Bobbi Kristina remains in a coma at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, where her family has been by her side and praying. They even held a public vigil for her last night.
A source close to the Brown family told Page Six it was Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother and Houston’s mother, Cissy Houston, who had the idea of pulling the plug on her life support on Feb. 11 – the same day the “I Will Always Love You” singer died in 2011.
This would be an attempt to keep the famous mother and daughter connected by the date forever.
“This is the only thing they can agree on — that she’s gone [brain-dead], and there’s nothing more than can be done for her,” the source said.
With tensions between the two families, family friend Tyler Perry has been a great peace broker between them.
“You wouldn’t think of him as being someone who’d be a peacemaker, but he’s someone both sides really respect,” the insider added.
