Singers Alice Cooper and Gavin DeGraw are celebrating their birthdays today, February 4.

Alice Cooper, 67

Singer, songwriter, musician and actor Alice Cooper turns 67 today. Born Vincent Damon Furnier, Alice Cooper started out as a band with five members in the '70s. They released the hits "I'm Eighteen" and "School's Out." Furnier embarked on a solo career, legally changing his name to Alice Cooper to avoid conflicts with former band mates. Cooper released his first studio album, Welcome to My Nightmare in 1975 and with it came a television special and a concert film.

After releasing two more albums, Cooper struggled with alcoholism and drug addiction for the next few years. Cooper received help and parted with his production company, becoming a free agent in 1984. Cooper returned to music, releasing three more albums in the '80s.

Cooper provided his vocals on the Guns N' Roses album Use Your Illusion I and guest starred in Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare and Wayne's World. Cooper went on to release eight more albums in his career, the latest being Welcome 2 My Nightmare in 2011.

Cooper has been nominated for two Grammy awards for his solo career. He has been married to ballet dancer and choreographer Sheryl Goddard for about 39 years. They have three children.
