Ciara needs to get back from the land down under.

The 29 year old R&B singer was set to perform in New Zealand where 1,500 fans anxiously waited in their seats at Canterbury University’s ILAM Fields. According to the DailyMail, the concert was scheduled to kick off around 9:30 PM. But when Ciara didn’t arrive until around 11 PM, fans became noticeably upset.

As if being nearly two hours late wasn’t bad enough, Ciara only performed two songs once the concert finally started. It’s understandable that the concert-goers were disappointed considering the show had to be moved from a small, local bar to a slightly larger venue to accommodate ticket demands. Radio New Zealand spoke with fans who attended the short-lived show, some of who paid over $100 for a VIP ticket. Included in the VIP package was a meet-and-greet with Ciara. Unfortunately, she didn’t make it to that either.

Another fan told Radio New Zealand that cans were “being thrown onto the stage, and pretty much the whole crowd was booing her.”

Ciara will continue her tour, heading to Australia today.
