Selena Gomez’s new boyfriend, DJ Zedd, somehow managed to pull her away from her on-again, off-again relationship with Justin Bieber and he’s now revealing how they met.
During an interview with Los Angeles’ 97.1 AMP Radio on Thursday, Zedd revealed a chance encounter has made him one lucky guy.
“It was about as random as it gets," he said, explaining, "I had to pee.” He said he went to the studio across the street from his own and he ran into Interscope CEO John Janick, who then introduced him to Gomez.
Gomez just signed a new contract with Interscope a few months back.
He remembers thinking to himself, “'Hey, she's cool, maybe we should make a song together.' And then like a week later, we start working on a song. All because I had to pee."
In January, Gomez and Zedd were seen holding hands at a Golden Globes after party.
Their song “I Want You To Know” came out last week.
