With the Grammys just five days away, it’s time for a reminder of who is up for the major awards this year. Pharrell Williams, Beyonce Knowles and Sam Smith earned the most nominations, with six each. The three are also competing against each other in the top Album of the Year category.
The nominees were announced back in December in a unique way. Individual musicians and bands announced categories on Twitter, leading up to CBS’ A Very Grammy Christmas special, when the Album of the Year nominees were finally announced.
LL Cool J will be hosting the ceremony once again and it airs on CBS at 8 p.m. on Sunday from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
