Justin Bieber is ready to turn over a new leaf and put his rambunctious teen years behind him. Part of the image rehabilitation will include a Comedy Central roast, which he asked for.
The network has shared the first commercial for the special, which shows a shirtless Bieber getting eggs thrown at him.
It’s supposed to be a funny reference to his infamous egging incident, when he vandalized a neighbor’s property in early 2014. Of course, it could also be a reference to that time way back in May 2011 when he was egged at a concert.
Bieber celebrates his 21st birthday on March 1, but the special will not be taped until March 14. It will air on Comedy Central Monday, March 30 at 10 p.m. Earlier this month, Kevin Hart was hired to host the event.
A line-up of guests has not been announced yet. It is Comedy Central’s first roast since September 2013, when James Franco was the target.
