Kim Kardashian accompanied her husband, Kanye West, to a tattoo shop in London where he got two tattoos in honor of his late mother, Donda West, and his daughter, North West.
Kim Kardashian shared the process on her Twitter page.
“I talked him out of getting a face tattoo....for now,” she wrote.
She then gave fans a preview of what the 37-year-old’s tattoo would have looked like had he gotten it on his forehead, Hot New Hip Hop notes.
After posting that Kanye had slightly zoned out due to it being early in the morning, Kardashian posted the end result of his tattoo process, which resulted in two wrist tattoos.
"He got it on his wrists instead,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star wrote. “His mothers birthdate and North's birthdate in Roman numerals.”
This isn’t the first time the rapper has dedicated something to his mother and his 1-year-old daughter.
The rapper’s “Only One” song is inspired by North West and his mother, who died in 2007. His design company, DONDA, is also inspired by his mother, BET notes.
West also has another tattoo of Madonna and baby Jesus on his arm, which is dedicated to his mother.
“This is me and my mommy,” he told W magazine in 2013.
