More information regarding the way Bruce Jenner’s family has reacted to his admission that he will transition to become a woman is being revealed and it appears that everyone – including the men in the family – have been supportive.
After a lot of speculation and rumors, Jenner’s mother, Esther Jenner, confirmed the reports and gushed about how “proud” she is that he’s living his truth after years of hiding it.
There were reports that Bruce’s ex-wife of over 20 years, Kris Jenner, had a difficult time with the news, and sources told People everyone processed it in their own way.
“They all came all around pretty quickly, but each of them had to process it in their own way," a source said. "All they want is for him to be happy."
Kim Kardashian’s concern was for her mother, and "once Kim was satisfied that Kris was emotionally okay, she was able to give Bruce her unconditional support."
As for Kourtney Kardashian’s longtime boyfriend, Scott Disick, he is fine with it now but “didn't react very well” at first and Kim’s husband Kanye West was supportive from the start.
West “believes in live and let live, and he took it all in stride. He and Kim are just trying to show Bruce love and acceptance – complete acceptance."
Bruce will reportedly give his first interview about his journey to Diane Sawyer and has already started filming a docu-series to document it.
