In the midst of Bruce Jenner’s media frenzy, former wife, Kris, is planning to drop her last name.
Having been Mrs. Jenner for the past 25 years, most people suspect that Kris will pick up the name that made her family famous, Kardashian. However, that is nowhere near accurate, even though Kris did regret dropping the name after her wedding to Bruce in 1991. Despite considering the name change on a former episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kris will simply go by her first name only.
“Kris will only use her first name professionally. She thinks she can pull it off because the entire world knows who she is,” according to RadarOnline. “She wants to be recognized as an independent, single woman, and there is just no need to use Jenner.”
“The timing is also perfect because Kris doesn’t want to be associated with Bruce. The transition to becoming a woman and the fatal car crash just made the decision so much easier for her,” the source for Radar claimed.
The divorce between Kris and Bruce will be finalized on March 23, according to E!.
