Kristen Stewart’s Cesar acceptance speech goes viral moments after former Twilight star wins prestigious French award.

Stewart has been working hard in Hollywood for years trying to make a name for herself. She has successfully become a household name. She has a body of work that most viewers are unaware that she even starred in because she was notably doing many indy films.

Before she became Bella Swan of Twilight fame, she did quite a few movies. Two that come to mind are The Messengers and In The Land Of Women. Both movies may not have been blockbusters or box office hits, but they were well done stories that were enjoyable to watch.
Since Twilight, Stewart has been trying to shed the stereotype role of Bella Swan. She took on three roles in 2014. Camp X-Ray, Clouds of Sils Maria and Still Alice respectively.

It was announced in Paris, France on Friday that she won a Cesar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Clouds of Sils Maria. She is the first American actress to ever win a Cesar award. For those who are unaware, a Cesar in France is the comparable to the Oscar here in America. After her name was announced for the win, Stewart was completely shocked and utterly honored. She attempted to speak some of her acceptance speech in French. See below.

Stewart may be a household name here still trying to make Hollywood see her as a more serious actress, but she rewrote history in France.

Stewart is forever working as she has three movies lined up for 2015 thus far. Look for her in Anesthesia, Equals and American Ultra.
