Olympian Lolo Jones has an issue with Fifty Shades of Grey and urges the droves of people going out to see it to choose another film to see.
The film, which is based on E.L. James’ best-selling trilogy, has raked in over $239 million at the box office so far and has broken a record for the biggest Valentine’s Day opening ever.
TMZ reports Jones, who is an Evangelical Christian, made her feelings on the S&M film clear in a couple Twitter posts.
“Funny how some people think there's nothing wrong with 50 shades of Grey. God didn't create sex for that purpose. Watch another movie,” she first tweeted.
She added of the film’s main character, the flawed Christian Grey, “Some ppl medicate pain by being more and more physical to where if they are ever alone they can't feel any peace.”
