Mario Lopez is speaking out about the Saved By The Bell reunion that aired on the Tonight Show earlier this week, saying he was happy to revisit his character AC Slater.

The whole main cast except for Dustin Diamond and Lark Voorhies returned to Bayside on Wednesday, along with host Jimmy Fallon, which the Extra host didn’t have to think twice about when approached with the idea.

“I loved our reunion! We've wanted to do one for years and this was the perfect way to do it," he told Us Weekly.

At one point in their skit, Lopez ripped off his clothes to reveal a black one-piece leotard. He joked he will “always commit 100 percent to AC Slater — unitard and all!"

It certainly paid off, as Fallon told Lopez on Extra the next day, “You killed it. You were amazing!”
